Our guest speaker, Hari Budha Magar, is a former British Gurkha and double above-knee amputee who became the first double above-knee amputee to summit Mount Everest — and to complete the Seven Summits.

Hari will share his story of courage, determination, and purpose. Every ticket purchased goes directly toward building a permanent home and educational campus for vulnerable children in Huwas, Parbat, Nepal.

Hari Budha Magar

Former British Gurkha & World Record Holder

Hari served as a Corporal in the British Army's Brigade of Gurkhas — one of the world's most elite fighting forces. In 2010, a roadside bomb in Afghanistan cost him both legs above the knee.

Rather than accept limitations, Hari redefined what was possible. He trained relentlessly and set his sights on Everest. On May 19, 2023, he became the first double above-knee amputee in history to reach the summit — and later completed the Seven Summits, standing on the highest peak of every continent.
